It is a beautiful day. A wild wind is blowing in off the bay, sending whitecaps racing over the water and making the trees outside my window dance. The cherry blossoms are starting; snowdrops and crocuses are in full bloom. The daffodils have pushed up out of the ground and in the next few days their yellow flowers will open up to the sun. I walk around in the beginnings of spring thinking: you were supposed to be here, too. This was to be your time, our time. My spring girl. Oh, I miss you.
